After a wide experience in the Human Resources, in different companies and responsibilities, from training, development, communication, organisation and change management, to Human Resources Direction, I reached to one conclusion: the key is in the person.
The key of leadership, teamwork, communication, relationships, change, results ..., is in the person, in the internal dialog it has with itself, in the way it looks at the world, in its emotions, in its attitudes and behaviours.
Due to this interest in the person and because it motivates me to help people to develop its potential, I decided to focus on experiential learning and coaching, because the combined action of both is the most powerful tool I know to catalyze the development process of any person. The true development doesn't happen when we learn something new, it happens when we are able to change our attitudes and behaviours.
There are two premises upon which revolve my conception of the person and the learning: firstly, every person is complete in itself, comes to this world with its own toolbox; and secondly, we cannot teach adults, they are the ones who learn when something is interesting or useful for them.
Based in those two premises I decided to create, along with Joana, accendo. We started in October 2007 and we are focused in developing programs of experiential learning and coaching to help people and organisations.
I studied Graduado Social and two masters in Human Resources Direction and in Organisational Development consultancy and three superior programs of Co-Active Coaching and Co-Active Leadership (from the Coaches Training Institute- CTI), and Team Coaching, Organizational Relationships and System Coaching (from the Centre for Right Relationships- CRR). I'm certified as ACC by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and as analyst by the Leadership Circle and by Predictive Index.
I have worked in the Human Resources Departments of companies like Ajuntament de Mataró, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, la Universitat de Barcelona, United Biscuits and Kraft Foods.
